Students of the Department of Food Processing at Isparta University of Applied Sciences Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School visited the Ancient City of Pisidia Antiocheia as part of a cultural field trip.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özhanlı provided information about the history of the ancient city, urban life during the Roman period, and ongoing archaeological excavations.
The students had the opportunity to examine historical structures such as the ancient theatre, agora, basilica, and aqueducts on site.
The event contributed to the development of students’ awareness of cultural heritage, observational skills, and social interaction competencies.
The cultural trip also served as a productive educational activity by supporting theoretical knowledge through practical field experience.
