Cybersecurity Awareness Training Held at Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School
Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBÜ) Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School organized a “Cybersecurity Awareness Training” for its students and staff.
The training, organized in cooperation with the Şarkikaraağaç District Police Department, addressed a range of current cybersecurity threats and digital risks. Participants were provided with comprehensive information on IBAN and bank account rental, illegal online betting and gambling, phishing attacks, fraudulent advertisements, social media scams, personal data protection, and digital footprints.
The training also focused on practical security measures that can be adopted against cyber threats encountered in daily digital life. Particular emphasis was placed on protecting personal data, using the internet safely and responsibly, and identifying the appropriate steps to take when faced with suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities.
At the conclusion of the program, Police Officer Mustafa Öznalcılar and Sena Selçuker were presented with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their valuable contributions and support to the training.
The training, aimed at enhancing cybersecurity awareness and strengthening the capacity of students and staff to recognize and respond to digital threats, concluded with strong participation and considerable interest from the attendees.
