Our Vocational School organized a departmental promotion event for students of Anatolian High School, introducing the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program and the Food Technology Program.
During the event, faculty members provided comprehensive information regarding the curricula of the programs, laboratory practices, internship opportunities, pathways for undergraduate completion through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS), post-graduation career prospects, and employment opportunities within relevant sectors.
To assess students’ awareness and career expectations related to these programs, surveys were administered both before and after the promotion activity. The findings indicated a positive increase in students’ knowledge levels and interest in the programs. Information concerning employment opportunities, career development prospects, hands-on training experiences, and the DGS process attracted considerable attention from the participants.
The event contributed significantly to raising students’ awareness of vocational higher education opportunities and supporting their informed career planning processes.
