Degree Awarded

Graduates of this program are awarded the title of Executive Secretary (Yönetici Sekreteri) and receive an Associate Degree in Office Management and Executive Assistance.


Qualification Level

Students gain theoretical and practical knowledge in office management and administrative organization at the short cycle (associate degree) level, which corresponds to Level 5 in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) and is compatible with the Bologna Process.


Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a high school diploma and have achieved a sufficient score on the national university entrance examination (ÖSYM).


Recognition of Prior Learning (Horizontal and Vertical Transfers)

Students transferring from equivalent programs may be exempt from courses successfully completed in their previous institutions, provided that the course content and credits are deemed equivalent by the departmental board.


Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The qualification structure complies with the national higher education framework defined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the principles of the Bologna Process, allowing institutions to structure and advance qualifications accordingly.


Program Objectives

The aim of the program is to train qualified office professionals who:

  2. Possess intermediate-level professional English language skills.

  3. Can organize meetings and events in office environments.

  4. Are capable of planning and arranging internal and external business trips for executives.

  5. Are proficient in using Microsoft Office and related software applications.

  6. Have the ability to collect, analyze, and present information.

  7. Are skilled in filing and archiving techniques.

  8. Can make and implement independent decisions within the limits of delegated authority.

  9. Have basic pre-accounting knowledge applicable to office environments.

  10. Are competent in managing documents and information in both professional and commercial contexts.

  11. Possess effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  12. Can operate various office machines and equipment efficiently.

  13. Understand office layout, ergonomics, and design principles.

  14. Are able to apply mathematical skills relevant to the profession.

The program seeks to develop professionals who can perform effectively in both public and private sector organizations, combining technical competence with professional communication and organizational abilities.

Graduates can work in public institutions, banks, and private enterprises, particularly in purchasing, production, marketing, and accounting departments as executive secretaries, administrative assistants, or office managers.

Program Purpose

The program aims to educate office professionals for both the public and private sectors by equipping them with fundamental secretarial, administrative, and technological skills.
Graduates receive an Associate Degree and the professional title Executive Secretary, enhancing their employability in administrative positions across various organizations.


Examination and Assessment

All assessments and examinations are conducted in accordance with the Associate and Bachelor’s Degree Education and Examination Regulations of Isparta University of Applied Sciences.
Typically, course grades are determined by 40% midterm and 60% final examinations.


Graduation Requirements

To graduate, students must:

  • Successfully complete all required courses within the legal study period,

  • Achieve a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 out of 4.00,

  • Complete a mandatory internship of 30 working days.
