“Innovate Today, Nourish Tomorrow”
World Food Day was celebrated at Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School. As part of the event, second-year students enrolled in the Food Technology Program delivered presentations to raise awareness of the importance of food, food safety, sustainable nutrition, and the prevention of food waste.
Dr. Emine AŞIK CANBAZ highlighted the indispensable role of food in human life, innovative approaches to future food systems, and the importance of individual responsibility in promoting sustainable food practices.
Lecturer Dr. Taner SARIOĞLU emphasized the importance of ensuring access to safer and healthier food in the future and of distributing food resources equitably and fairly among all segments of society.
At the conclusion of the event, halva was served to students and staff members of Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School and Tourism Vocational School.
